Education:

University of Milan, 1985: B.A. in modern literature with major in historic geography and thesis on landscaping by Edward Lear.
Inchbald School of Design, 1984: course in garden architecture and design.

Work experience:

1985 to 1990: collaborates with Ippolito Pizzetti renowned landscape architect, professor of landscaping and author of numeorouses pubblications.
1988 to 1994: columnist of weekly gardening section “Pollice Verde”, directed by Ippolito Pizzetti, in italian national newspaper “Il Messaggero”.
1986 to present: project and design of garden and terraces with particular emphasis on mediterranean landscape.
1999 to 2000: tought gardening course for the Garden Services Department of the Municipality of Rome.
1999: collaborated in the gardening section of the encyclopedia of Rome, published by Franco Maria Ricci.
1995: partecipated in the concourse for the requalification of Borghetto Flaminio, city of Rome.
1994: consulting for the restouration of the gardens of villa Pepoli, Roma.
1992: consulting for the city of Milano.
1988: consulting for the restoration of the historic park of villa Coccolia, Ravenna.
1988-1989: columnist for “Folia di acer”.

Research and publication:

2005: published “Nel Giardino s'Incontrano gli Dei” by Sperling & Kupfer. Officially presented in Rome in november 2005 and appared in numerous articles in journals as well as in tv programs in the following months.
1995: review of “The Education of a gardener” by Russel Pace. Published in “L'Indice”.
1989: research on “The Florist component and vegetation in a project of enviromental and socio economical development of the Pontine islands, for Bonifica spa.
1987: article on historical gardens published in “Viaggio in Italia” n° 17.
1987: research on historical gardens for the film publication company “Cinema e Cinema”.
1986: historical research and pubblication in “Giardini storici piacentini”.
